By visiting the Site, downloading the App, or using any feature of CapKnow, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using CapKnow.

Service content

CapKnow provides functions such as taking or importing images, viewing explanatory results, saving observations, search history, exporting sharing cards, managing subscriptions and contacting support. Specific features may vary by platform, region, version, network status, and subscription status.

App Store and Licensing

When you obtain CapKnow through the App Store, app licensing, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and reinstatements are also subject to Apple's terms. Apple's standard EULA applies to apps distributed through the App Store, unless we provide a custom EULA otherwise.

Account and access

Some features can be used without creating an account; account or device identification may be required for login, subscription benefit synchronization, support requests, or future sync features. You should ensure that the information you provide is true and accurate, and that you properly protect your device and account access.

Photos, notes and shares

You retain the right to upload, save, annotate and share your content. You grant CapKnow permission to process such content to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, improve and support the Services. Please ensure that you have the right to shoot, upload, save and share relevant content, and avoid infringing on others' privacy, intellectual property rights or other legal rights.

The results are for reference only

The names, explanations, lookalikes, uses, contexts, reminders, or other content generated by CapKnow may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific scenario. Do not rely on the results as the sole basis for medical, food safety, toxicity judgment, valuation, authenticity identification, legal, safety, engineering, financial or other professional judgments. Please consult qualified professionals or authorities for high-risk matters.

Subscription and paid features

CapKnow offers both free credits and paid subscriptions. Subscriptions may include higher or more stable usage credits or other premium features. Prices, duration, trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are subject to App Store display and Apple rules. A change in paid status will not cause your existing local experience records to be hidden or deleted.

Prohibited behavior

• Upload, save or share content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, malicious or seriously invades privacy.
• Use CapKnow for monitoring, tracking, identification, law enforcement, medical diagnostics, hazardous materials disposal, or other high-risk purposes.
• Bypass quotas, subscriptions, permissions, security restrictions, or access controls.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, rent, sublicense or use CapKnow in any unauthorized manner.
• Interfere with the operation of the service, submit malicious requests, or attempt to access data that does not belong to you.

Third party services

CapKnow may rely on App Store, hosting, image processing, diagnostics, customer support or other third-party services. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies; we do not control all practices of third-party services.

intellectual property

CapKnow's name, interface, logo, software, design, copywriting, database structure and other service content are protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Service changes and terminations

We may adjust, suspend or stop some functions, or restrict your use when you violate the terms, create risks or are required by law. We will try to avoid interfering with your ability to access and delete existing local records.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

CapKnow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DO NOT WARRANT THE CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICES, BE COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THE ACCURACY OF THE RESULTS. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use CapKnow.

Terms update

We may update these Terms from time to time. Major changes will be prompted in an appropriate manner within the website or app. Your continued use of CapKnow after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
